A George Galloway enthusiast in England has taken a folk song about peace, written by yours truly, and combined it with a Galloway speech.

The song is called "That's My Boy" and was originally written about the conflict in Israel / Palestine. It is sung from the point of view of the mother of an Israeli soldier killed in battle. However, the song is not explicitly Zionist, but more about the grief that war causes to those left behind.

What Kate did was remove most of the Jewish and Israel references, and edited together what was left into something that can be applied to any conflict. In fact, I have re-written the song to make it more general, inspired by this creation.

Edited into the song is parts of a speech by George Galloway. Galloway is a British politician who was thrown out of the Labour party for his opposition to the war in Iraq. He has since formed his own political party, RESPECT.

This mash is available to listen to on YouTube.
